These remarkable working-class women spent season after season, in sunshine and storm alike, gently guiding bathers into the sea. Their resilience, care, and quiet determination made them an unforgettable part of Britain's seaside story.Rooted in community and shaped by local voices, this is a show for everyone – curious children, seaside nostalgists, and anyone who has ever stood at the water’s edge and wondered.Free to attend. They have performed at various festivals including Weymouth & Lymington Sea Food, Camp Bestival, Teignmouth Festival, Seven Seas, Bridport Folk, as well as Fair In The Square, at weddings, Trafalgar nights, and supporting Lifeboat events, various charity events and performing in care homes.

Tony Lowe, the Weymouth- born swing singer, is returning from Belgium this summer to air the 'velvet voice' style of superb performance he has become known for.Tony will be on the Bandstand with his great collection of songs.For Cool Swing and Frank Sinatra fans this afternoon is a MUST!This event is in aid of our local Weldmar hospice.Please give generously to their bucket collectors who will be around all afternoon!
